After graduating from the University of Dhaka, Mr. Helal Rafiqul Alam pursued advanced academic and professional training in Japan. He completed his post-graduation from Kyoto University of Foreign Studies and subsequently earned a Business Diploma from Nakano School of Business, equipping him with strong cross-cultural, managerial, and global trade expertise.

He began his professional career with Nippon Steel Trading (NITETSU SHOJI)—a subsidiary of the world’s leading steel manufacturing group—where he served in the Export Department. During this tenure, he gained extensive hands-on experience in international steel trading, global supply chain management, and export operations across multiple markets.

Leveraging this strong foundation, Mr. Alam later established his own business ventures and has since been actively engaged in international trading and manufacturing across diversified sectors. His core business activities include:

        • Steel Trading: Steel coils, flat products, and steel scrap

        • Manufacturing: Garments and accessories

        • Energy Trading: Fuel oil, LPG

        • Bulk Commodities: Coal trading for both public and private sector entities

 

With a strong global footprint, Mr. Alam conducts business across North America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and other key international markets. His operations are driven by a deep understanding of global trade dynamics, strong supplier and buyer networks, and a commitment to reliability, compliance, and long-term partnerships.
